Louise Perry, LSW 
Mom/therapist, she/her

Louise is a licensed social worker, specializing in motherhood therapy. She has been providing maternal care in various ways for almost 2 decades as doula, birth educator, midwife assistant, and now a therapist. She is a mother herself of a 4 year old daughter. In her work, she feels deeply passionate about supporting women through their transition into motherhood, as it is a critical time of radical change, development and growth. She uses a wide lens when supporting mothers by recognizing both the personal struggles that mothers go through and social elements that impact the “hood”, in which they mother in. Louise has been trained in various modalities in meeting the unique needs of mothers including Emotion Focused Therapy and Matricentric Feminism. 

Louise is also the owner and founder of The Grove, A mother-centric wellness center, dedicated to creating social  connection and support for new mothers in Gunnison, Colorado.
